I explored ideas of verticality from the industrial chimneys in close proximity to the site. The digital version I created in Rhino was built using a 3D printer for the primary form. Experimenting with copper strips informed my idea of a copper foundry. Then using laser-cut water coloured paper, I layered the contoured landscape  to complete the model.
